What is Students of STEM ?
The Students of STEM organization is a nonprofit offering free STEM education to K-12 students. It focuses on teaching subjects like coding, math, and problem-solving through online 1-on-1 classes and in-person workshops.
The group connects experienced high school tutors with children in need, aiming to make STEM accessible, especially to underserved communities.
Programs include Python and Scratch programming classes, challenge math, and speaker spotlights from professionals in STEM fields. The organization is volunteer-driven and supported by donations.
My Roles In The Organization
At Students of STEM, I lead efforts to secure sponsorships and donations to support free STEM education initiatives for K-12 students.
I also manage partnerships with various organizations, working to create collaborative opportunities and expand our outreach.
My role involves ensuring that we have the resources to provide impactful programs, making STEM education accessible to all.
